mondo dock

mondo dock is a Widget to access your common applications and documents via the Dashboard. Just drag from the Finder, bring up Dashboard, and drop onto it to add it. You can even launch documents by dropping them on apps - just like the Dock.
Features:
- Multiple "saved sets" of documents so you can switch between projects/tasks easily (or if you accidentally close the Widget)
- Horizontal or vertical
- Change the size of the icons
- Change the background color
- Reorder items by dragging
- Indication of running apps
- "Drop Between" to add icon
- Starts Finder copy when dragging to folders/disks
How do I drag files to mondo dock?
So, in the finder, click on the file/application. With the mouse button still down, click the keyboard command to invoke dashboard (by default, f12), and drop the icon between whatever icons you want (or on the "curvy down arrow" if you've removed all the icons).
If you've got dashboard set up to appear when you move the mouse into a corner of the screen, you can also drag the file there and dashboard will appear.
