The Dicenomicon allows you to easily roll specific dice, just by tapping to add a new die to the collection. What die is added is determined by the selected item in the control at the bottom of the screen - to add a different die, just change the selection (all the dice can be removed by tapping on the trash can in the top bar). Besides the common dice, additional dice can be accessed by tapping on the "..." button - this will switch to the next set of dice. Repeatedly tapping the "..." will cycle through all available dice

By default, once the dice stop rolling, their results are totalled up and displayed on the top of the screen. Once they've stopped rolling, you can select them and manipulate them:

• The selected die can be rerolled
• The selected die can be removed
• The selected die can be ignored - it will no longer be counted in the total (this lasts until the dice are rolled again). This is useful for games where you want to roll, for example, 4 six sided dice and ignore the lowest die.
• The selected die can be held - it will be marked as immobile and will stay right where it is the next time you roll the dice. This can be used for games like dice-poker (where you can reroll dice to improve your hand).
• The selected die can be treated as normal - this will cancel both being ignored and being held

NB: Composite dice (like d%) are treated as a single die - you can't, for example, ignore the lower digit, or delete one of the two dice.

There are also two short-cuts to work with all the dice. If you want to treat all the dice as normal (removing the ignored and held status), you can sweep across the device from left to right. If you sweep from right to left, you will be presented with a dialog just like you did when you selected a single die (but the effects will apply to all the dice).
